About Numkin

Numkin means “salty” — like the sea air in Cox's Bazar where our kitchen sits a few minutes from the fish landing.

We buy octopus, squid, crab and prawns straight from local fishing boats every morning, clean them by hand, and cook them in small batches with our own spice blends. Then we seal each dish hot and hand it to the courier the same day, so you get restaurant-style seafood anywhere in Bangladesh — without the hassle of cleaning a single tentacle.

Why we started

Most people in Bangladesh never get to taste octopus or squid because they're hard to find and harder to cook. We want to change that.
